Smear Test Sundays

Last weekend saw the launch of our first Smear Test Sunday, where our nursing team are providing additional weekend appointments for those who may not be able to attend during the week for their cervical screening.

When you are due for your cervical screening, we will send you a letter in the post to let you know. Make sure we’ve got your correct address so this doesn’t get lost!

If you don’t book an appointment after receiving this letter, we’ll send you a text message to remind you.

It’s really important to book your cervical screening appointment as soon as you receive an invitation. Cervical screening appointments only take an average of 10-15 minutes and help prevent cancer.

Cervical screening @188 is performed by our highly skilled female nurses who will explain the procedure to you, give you an opportunity to ask questions, and maintain your comfort throughout.
