The birthday celebrations continue!

Celebrations for the NHS’ 76th birthday continued today as staff received deliveries of NHS-branded cakes.

76 years on from the founding of the NHS, it’s the people who make us. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to deliver the best possible care in very challenging circumstances.

In addition to our sweet treats, we are also celebrating the NHS’ birthday with the launch of our renewed development plan. This sets out our priorities for change over the next five years and will become a framework embedded into our daily work. More details on the development plan will be added to our website over the next few weeks.

We have also published a birthday video which showcases just some of the work our incredible team have done over the last year.

As we head into the NHS’ 76th year, the team @188 remain enthused to deliver on our mission statement, which is ‘to provide an appropriate and rewarding experience for our patients whenever they need our support’.
