The way you access our services is changing

We’re about to begin using a ‘total triage’ model at The Practice @ 188!

This means from 1 April 2025, when you contact us, you will be asked to go online and submit an eConsult detailing what you need help with. If you genuinely cannot do this, staff will ask you a series of questions and submit an eConsult on your behalf.

One of our senior GPs will then triage your request to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.

Following this, our team will contact you with the triage outcome and, if needed, arrange a follow-up appointment.

This will make sure we can provide all our patients with the care they need in an appropriate timeframe.

We are very excited to be moving away from a ‘first come first served’ system to one which prioritises based on clinical need. If you have any questions about eConsult or our total triage system, please speak with us.
